On my Android devices I have GoogleDrive too and AndTidWiki and Autosync GoogleDrive. It works now with an older version of Tiddlyfox, syncing with GoogleDrive over Insync. So I looked again, if I couldn't handle my Wikis with Pale Moon. With GoogleDrive and TiddlyDrive.īut Chrome got on my nerves- it was so slow and doesn't have good addons. I moved from Firefox to Pale Moon Browser after the fucking big Update of Firefox.īut Chrome seemed to be the only way for me (that I could manage with my small computer know how) to handle my TiddlyWikis on Linux and Android simultaneously. I moved from Chrome to Pale Moon Browser with my Wikis. Hi and nice christmas holidays (or how do you say it in englisch?) :-) I've made macros like this, but in reality performance on a small device is so poor that I rarely use it. "files/mypath/myfile.jpg") or to use a set of macros that will allow you to change the base bath ("files/mypath/") part depending on where the files are located. If you are physically synching (not using a cloud address), then you need either to (1) put the files in the same place relative to your TW file and then use a relative path (e.g. This post tells you how to create an address to google drive that will work on more than one device. If you're not physically synchronizing (copying the files between devices) then you need the same web address.įor google drive, look at the last (bottom) post here: Įven though it's the last post, it's the best because the other's were written before Aug. Then again it is also more of use if you think you need a lot of relationship graphs, so for maybe political/conspiracy-heavy campaigns. The problem is that you need the same address on both platforms. TiddlyMap is the one thing I recommend looking at early I find it easier to have present from the get go, and a bit hard to add late in the game, so to speak. I would suggest looking at groktiddlywiki for starters (and really only the beginning, I found it easy to just start and learn as I go), use Stroll, and the cheat sheet. I do not use this one, since I have other needs, but as above I am sure it will find users here.Īnd finally another database with tips and plugins I found helpful. I do not need this yet, but fear I might in the future. Some tips to speed up performance when you have lots of tiddlers. A friend of mine prefers this vastly for her own campaign wikis. The Ghostwriter theme which I would use if it wouldn't clash with TiddlyMaps, and the Whitespace theme would not exist. Sadly does not work with TiddlyMap, but I like it enough that I switch themes when I do not need the map. Takes a moment to get used to, and does not play nice with many themes, but still a thumbs up from me. The TiddlyMap plugin, which I use in my Dracula Dossier campaign to keep track of subsets of relationships. Here a collection of nifty tricks that can be used. I haven't used any, but I am sure someone here will find it useful. Here someone offers a few RPG-specific plugins (for creature stat blocks and so on). Then there is Colorplay, which massively simplifies making your own color palettes if you - like me - do not really like any of the included ones. It is essentially TW with a few plugins included, most importantly bi-directional inking and link-renaming, but a few others. You already found groktiddlywiki, which is the big one.įirst of all, I use a modified TW called Stroll. Since you seem to have arrived at using Tiddlywiki, I want to share a few links I find helpful.
